Training Discription

The Youth Mental Health First Aid course is for adults working or living with adolescents (those aged between 12 and 18 years), however, the course can be relevant for those helping people who are a little younger or older. This course is particularly suitable for parents, school staff, sports coaches, and youth workers. Who can attend this course? Any adult can attend. The course is not appropriate for adolescents to attend. What is the format? Component 1: eLearning: approx. 3 hours Component 2: 3 x 2.5 zoom sessions - Session 1: 12th April - 9.30am -12 noon Session 2: 13th April - 9.30am -12noon (morning session) Session 3: 13th April - 1pm – 3.30pm (afternoon session - same day) Each participant will receive the latest YOUTH MHFA manual, a quick reference guide on the completion of the training, and a MHFA accreditation certificate (after completed the assessment)

Cancellation Policy

Mental Health First Aid – Blended online Community/workplace 1. All requests to cancel or change course dates must be made in writing (email) to PsychAssist - bookings@psychassist.com.au no less than 24 business hours prior to the commencement date of the course. 2. In order for You to cancel a course, you must advise via email and receive an acknowledgement of the email to be eligible for a refund. 3. PsychAssist will provide a full refund less 10% administration fee for cancellations of training and courses where adequate notice of no less than 24hrs is provided in writing. 4. Transfers to alternate dates with notice in writing (email) of no less than 24hrs will be accommodated where possible at no charge. You may only transfer to alternated dates one time, or a 10% admin fee with occur with changes thereafter 5. Cancellations and date change requests received less than 24hrs prior to the start of the course will incur a fee of 50% of the total course price. This is due to PsychAssist minim participants needed to run a training course and inconveniences of other participants. 6. Refunds will not be issued to Participants/Clients who fail to attend training. Private Training Courses Cancellations and Transfers (F2F, Blended, e-Learning) 1. All requests to cancel or change private course dates must be made in writing to PsychAssist – bookings@psychassist.com.au no less than 20 business days prior to the commencement date of the course. 2. Cancellations and date change requests received by PsychAssist less than 20 business days, but more than 10 business days prior to the start of the course, will incur a fee of 50% of the total course price. 3. Cancellations and date change requests received less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course will incur a fee of 80% of the total course price. 4. Substitution of Clients is accepted up to 3 business days before course commencement and requires you to notify PsychAssist before the course. Refunds will not be issued to Clients who fail to attend training.
