MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID

Mental Health First Aid Australia has developed a blended course tailored to
legal workplaces, teaching managers, supervisors and individuals how to assist a co-worker who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
WHAT’S THE FORMAT?
This course is a combination of online (eLearning) and 4-hours face-to-face training
WHO CAN ATTEND?
This course is best suited to leaders, decision makers, and influencers within organisations.
WHY ATTEND A COURSE?
Evaluations consistently show that MHFA training is associated with improved knowledge of mental illnesses, their treatments and appropriate first aid strategies, and confidence in providing first aid to individuals with mental illness. It is also associated with decreased stigma and an increase in help provided over time.

MHFA COURSE ACCREDITATION
Demonstrate your mental health first aid skills by becoming an Accredited Mental Health First Aider. Complete an online assessment after the course to become Accredited.
